Each saddle bag measures approximately 11" wide x 13" in length and has two buckles for the closure. They expand to about 3" or more and will hold all the items you need when you are riding. You can keep drinks, snacks, treats for your horse or you, and your cell phone for emergancies! The width from front to back that holds the front and back peices together is 3". The strap that goes between the two bags is 4 1/2" wide in the middle and 9 1/2" right next to the bags and it measures 17" from one bag to the other across.
